Hi, I’m Joelle.

I build websites that bring you customers.

I’m a web designer in Calgary. I make websites and online stores, write the email that keeps people coming back, and get you found on Google and in AI answers. You work with me directly, start to finish.

Websites & stores

A clinic, and the store it grew into.

Action Sports Clinic has treated Calgary athletes since 1999. I rebuilt their site, then turned their bracing division into a store that ships across Canada. Drag the handle to compare.

Action Sports Clinic

A 25-year-old clinic, brought up to date.

Same clinic, same downtown address, same motocross energy. New site built around one job: get someone from “my knee hurts” to a booked appointment, on their phone.

Action Bracing

One buried page became a national store.

Bracing was a single page inside the clinic site. It is now an online brace store with a brace-finder quiz, insurance support and free size exchanges, shipping Canada-wide.

AI search (GEO)

Ten blue links became one answer.

Ask ChatGPT or Google where to go and you no longer get a page of options. You get a recommendation. There is no second place in a single answer, and hardly anyone in your industry has worked this out yet. That is the opening, and it closes the moment they do.

Email marketing

Your best customers are the ones you already have.

Winning someone new costs far more than keeping someone you have. A welcome sequence that runs itself and a monthly note worth reading, written in your voice and measured so you know it works.

How I work

No agency, no runaround.

You talk to me, I do the work, and you know the price before anything starts.

    A call

Thirty minutes. You tell me about the business, I ask questions. No slides.

    A fixed quote

One number, in writing, before anything starts. It doesn’t change.

Questions people ask

Who do you build websites for?

Small businesses, mostly in Calgary and the surrounding towns — clinics, trades, shops, studios. Usually the owner is the person I work with directly, and usually the site needs to do one specific job: get a booking, a call, or an order.

What does a small business website cost?

One fixed price, agreed in writing before any work starts, based on how many pages you need and whether the words and photos exist yet. It doesn't change partway through. TODO: replace with Joelle's real range.

Do you only work with Calgary businesses?

No, but most clients are here. Calgary and area clients get an in-person kickoff if they want one; everywhere else in Canada the process runs over video and works the same.

Can you also handle Google and email, or just the website?

All of it, and it's usually better together. A site nobody finds is an expensive brochure, so search setup is part of every build, and email is the cheapest way to get a past customer back.

What do I need to have ready before we start?

Nothing, though it speeds things up if you have photos and a rough idea of what you want a visitor to do. The words we write together — that part is never as ready as people think, and it's usually what sets the timeline.

Let’s talk about your business.

Tell me what you do and what you need. I’ll reply within a day, usually with a couple of questions and a rough idea of cost.
